The intermittent musings of a pedantic public defender...

Nice to see the show back. Too bad the coming attractions gave away Jerry's haircut, but it was a fun bit. It's also great to see Ros getting into the courtroom, even if some minor characters handed her a solution on a platter.
Her story was good in the way it showed how her client was facing days or weeks in jail, losing her job, losing control of her family, because she couldn't make even the token bail. I guess the justice system is very different if you're in a situation where $1000 is an impossible amount of money.
Also, I gotta say, if I was Jerry's client, I would have thrown the nephew under a bus. Just sayin'.
I enjoyed the season 2 premiere. Loved the CAO meeting. The episode felt different, not as fast paced as some from last season. The client's stories seemed to be emphasized even more. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.
I was disappointed with last season, but as a public defender, I wanted to see if this season would be an improvement and not so frustrating to watch.
I give the first episode a B rating. I wasn't cringing the whole way through and it seemed more true to life to me than last seasons episodes. Looking forward to more episodes to see just how close this will get to reality.
Thanks Guys.
Spicy--interested in what, as a PD you didn't like about the last season...
