The Florida Legislature has expanded the Castle doctrine to any place a person "has a right to be." That basically dispenses with the right to retreat which is, any most criminal defense lawyers know, the biggest hurdle we have in self-defense cases. Brilliant.(Thanks to Public Defender blog)
